Children's Miracle Network with proceeds supporting Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital
Team Honda proudly supports Our Lady of the Lake (OLOL) Children's Hospital, one of the 170 Children's Miracle Network (CMN Hospitals) Hospitals in North America. OLOL Children's Hospital utilizes funds raised through CMN Hospitals to purchase the most advanced, state-of-the-art medical equipment, expand lifesaving pediatric services, and to provide advanced training for clinical staff. OLOL Children's Hospital also uses these funds to enhance educational, diagnosis-specific resources for patients and their families. Additionally, CMN Hospitals funds help provide specialized healthcare for children who could not otherwise afford it.
Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge
The Companion Animal Alliance (CAA) of Baton Rouge is a worthy cause that Team Honda is proud to be a sponsor of. They started the Fostering Hope program in 2016, in partnership with Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center, in order to match foster pets with cancer survivors, providing meaningful therapy to both humans and pets. The Companion Animal Alliance (CAA) looks forward to becoming a nationally recognized animal shelter that Baton Rouge residents, and those in the surrounding areas, can be proud of, and Team Honda will be right there supporting them along the way.
Toys for Tots
We are honored to have the ability to be a part of the Toys for Tots Foundation Christmas Toy Drive that is managed by the U.S. Marine Corp. First Sergeant Hernandez, L-Cpl, along with Team Toyota's very own First Sergeant Baltazar make the rounds during the holidays to pick up the presents that were generously donated so that many children in Baton Rouge and the surrounding communities can have a Christmas that they otherwise wouldn't be able have. We thank you First Sergeant Hernandez, L-Cpl, First Sergeant Baltazar and all of the Marines for the services they provide, and we look forward to continuing to take part in this wonderful foundation for many years to come.
Team Automotive Sportsplex
Team Honda is proud to be the title sponsor, along with Team Toyota, of the Team Automotive Group Sportsplex. This state-of-the-art center happens to be the largest basketball facility in all of Baton Rouge, as well as the largest indoor volleyball facility in the entire state of Louisiana. Along with being a premier basketball and volleyball complex, the Team Automotive Group Sportsplex is also used for numerous other purposes including BREC summer camps, cheerleading competitions and recreation activities for seniors. Located at 7122 Perkins Rd, it's conveniently located and available for all Baton Rouge residents to enjoy.
Baton Rouge Soccer Club
Team Honda is a title and presenting sponsor of the Baton Rouge Soccer Club, an organization committed to providing excellence in both soccer programming and physical fitness activities to Baton Rouge residents of all ages and abilities. They help individuals collaborate and work together as one cohesive unit to accomplish their goals, and they're committed to providing excellent customer service while fully understanding the impact and importance of their work as it relates to the community. Baton Rouge Soccer Club is constantly seeking out new and innovative ways to improve their impact on the community, and that's something everyone in Baton Rouge can support.
Baton Rouge Green
When Baton Rouge Green needed a new work truck, the Team Automotive Group donated a nearly brand-new Tundra to help them continue their work across Baton Rouge. "The Team Automotive Group has been proud to be a partner with Baton Rouge Green for years, and we are very excited to further our relationship with this new partnership", says Preston Q. Petersen, GM of the Team Automotive Group. "Like Baton Rouge Green, the Team Automotive Group is deeply rooted in Baton Rouge, serving the city and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Team Honda and the Team Automotive Group are proud sponsors of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive for the Greater Baton Rouge (GBR) Food Bank. The GBR Food Bank is a non-profit organization that solicits, procures, inventories and warehouses donated food items and other products until they're ready to be used. The items that they store are then distributed to a variety of Baton Rouge community agencies such as pantries, meal sites, homes, shelters and soup kitchens that continually are serving individuals in need. As they continue their mission of feeding the hungry in Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes, we'll continue supporting them in their endeavors.
Gonzales Soccer Club
The mission of the Gonzales Soccer Club (GSC) is to provide every player the opportunity to take part in and enjoy the game of soccer. They provide a fun and safe environment for the residents of Gonzales, and for others located throughout Ascension Parish, that encourages physical, mental and social growth. Team Honda proudly supports the Gonzales Soccer Club as they continue to promote integrity, good sportsmanship and the growth of soccer throughout their expanding community, and they plan on continuing to offer programs to all Gonzales residents for many years to come.
